There will be a maximum supply of chests for which reason a marketplace is necessary for Pirates to either sell or rent out their chests. The marketplace will have a flat fee of 5% on the amount earned by the seller which will be used to replenish the rewards wallet.

Maximum Chest Supply:

Small Wooden Chest - 50.000 units

Large Wooden Chest - 35.000 units

Iron Chest - 15.000 Units

The Marketplace will have rent, offer and buy options, buyers would also be able to request certain types of chests at certain rates of choice or with certain terms of contract.

Rent:

Pirates that own more than one chest can put their extra chests to work by renting them out on the marketplace. Buyers (rentee) can only use the chests in game modes as chests rented out but not used in a game mode cannot earn APYs and will automatically default to 7 losses if unused for that day. The seller (renter) can specify the number of days he wants to rent out his chest (a maximum of 7 days) and the fees or percentage of winnings per day. Chests rented are automatically returned at the time of expiry although the rentee may request for an additional number of days (maximum of 7 days) before his rent expires at the existing terms which is then subject to approval by the renter.

• Percentage: The renter can opt to get a percentage of winnings from the rentee's daily winning. Should in case the renter opts for this option and the rentee is unable to win for that day, the returns on the chest rent will be zero.

• Flat Fee: Pirates who don't want to take the risk can opt for a flat daily rent fee of which the total would be paid at the time of renting the chest.

Sell:

Pirates would be able to sell their chests for $BOOTY coin. The sell advert will have a timeout function with a maximum of one month. To prevent listing errors, sellers that list their chests for less than 30% of the floor price for that current chest type will be asked to confirm. There will be outright Buy Mode and Offer Mode which would allow buyers to offer a price they deem fair.

Request:

Buyers would also be able to post requests for certain chest types with their own terms to which a seller can then accept and enter into a contract with the buyer. The seller will pay the 5% marketplace fees.
